Geoffrey wheeler was a wonderful husband, dad, grandadand and brother. He is sadly missed by all those who loved him. Geoff was a sensible man who always cared about others. Geoff grew up in Welling with his parents and he spent most of his adult life living in Dartford. Geoff was a devoted husband to Pearl wheeler for many years and they loved and cared for each other very much. Geoff had two children Beverley and Paul who he cared about very much. Geoff had six grand children. Geoff was a very intelligent man who always encouraged his children and his grand children to do well at school. My grandad has inspired me to do well and always try my best at school. I loved my grandad very much and i will always miss him but i know he is at rest now. I will always remember the great times i had with my grandad. I used to love going out for the day with my nan and my grandad, especially Reculver and Westgate, we used to go there all the time. Grandad was so much fun to have around. I remember every year when it came to my birthday my nan and grandad would take me to Toys R Us to buy me a birthday present and i used to get all excited. I can always remember when me and my cousin used to nick grandads brush and try and put his hair in a pony tail. There are so many good memorys i could go on forever. I will always love you grandad. You had lots of health problems in your time but you were such a fighter. You sadly past away due to lots of problems such as having had strokes and having fluid on the lungs but you now rest in peace. We will never forget you grandad. You are now with the angels who will take good care of you.

God's garden read at Geoffs funeral

God looked around His garden and found an emty place.
He then looked upon the earth and saw your tired face.
He out his arm around you and lifted you to rest.
God's garden must be beautiful, He always takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering, He knew you were in pain.
He knew that you would never get well on earth again.
He saw the road was getting rough, and the hills were hard to climb.
So He closed your eyelids, and whispered, "peace be thine".
It broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn't go alone.
For part of us went with you Geoff, the day God called you home.
